We had to rescheduled Sophia & Avery’s original engagement shoot a couple weeks prior due to rain but thankfully the day we rescheduled for turned out gorgeous! I met them at the gorgeous Konza Prairie in Manhattan, KS! It was a little windy but the Konza has plenty of wind block! It’s been a while since I’ve shot out there but I have lots of fun memories at the Konza! Caleb & I use to visit the Konza often when we lived in Manhattan. I remember when I’d practice photographing Caleb out there when I was just beginning! So it was so much fun getting to use it for Sophia & Avery’s engagement photos!

I  had met them for the first time for coffee several months ago and knew right away just how awesome they were! I was once again reminded of that at their shoot. These two are just so kind and easy to talk to! I loved chatting with them as we walked around! I’m so glad they were game for hiking up to the top of the big hill especially since none of us were wearing very good hiking shoes! I forgot how much work it was to get up to the top and was quite out of breath but it was totally worth it! Sophia & Avery’s whole shoot was just stunning! I love their images and how you can just see the love in their eyes! The light + the couple was just perfect! I’m so excited for you to see their images below! Hope you enjoy!
