One of my love languages is gifts! I love getting them but more importantly, I love giving them! So each year I try to put together a special gift box for my amazing Bride & Grooms. Last year I worked with Hello Darlin’ to put together an awesome at home date box. However, this year I decided I wanted to put the boxes together myself because the idea just came to me! Since Caleb & I recently bought our first house back in December ( you can read the story here), I thought it’d be fun to put together items they could have for their home together!
I love getting to support other small business owners & local businesses which I did with a couple of these items! I couldn’t help but show off some of the pretty items that were in this years box! I feel like I’m going to have a hard time coming up with next years box because this box is my fav! Good thing I have a little while to brainstorm some fun ideas!
At the end of this post I’ll share some of the photos my couples posted once they received their gifts! That’s probably my favorite part of putting these together is getting to see the fun reactions from my couples! I even had some couples sending me videos of them opening them which was so fun! We just love spoiling our couples because we can’t express how much it truly means to us that they chose us to photograph their big day! Anyways, I hope you check out these awesome vendors I used and give them some love! They’re all so awesome!
Happily Ever After Cards From Rifle Paper Company
I first spotted these cute cards when I was in Acme Gifts in Manhattan but saw that they didn’t have enough so I went ahead and ordered them off Rifle Paper Company site! They literally couldn’t have fit my brand more perfect!!! It was so fun getting to write a hand note to all my couples!
Mr & Mrs mugs from Chalk Full Of Love
These mugs are my favorite mugs!!! I’m obsessed with anything that Sarah from Chalk Full Of Love makes! So I knew I just had to get these mugs for my couples! She was so wonderful to work with! Caleb loves using our mugs and if the MR is dirty he doesn’t hesitate to use the MRS. haha I highly recommend checking out some of the other awesome products she has!
Personalized Kitchen Towels from Wedding Chicks
I absolutely loved the idea of having a personalized kitchen towel for my couples with their names & wedding date! I have a kitchen towel obsession and Wedding Chicks had some many cute designs to choose from! I even bought Caleb & I one! haha It was kind of a nerve-racking process though making sure I didn’t spell anyone’s name wrong or put the wrong date. Hopefully, that didn’t happen! haha
Chocolates From Sweet Granada in Emporia
It wasn’t probably the smarter thing for me to mail chocolate in the middle of summer but I couldn’t help it! The Sweet Granada in Emporia, KS makes has the yummiest chocolates! Also, they wrapped all my gifts in the prettiest wrapping paper! I loved that I could support a local business too!
Wooden Spoon Rests From Modcloth
Now I know that Modcloth isn’t technically a small business but they are one of my favorite online stores! They have the cutest gifts! When I knew I was going to go with a “home” them I started looking for cute spoon rests and found the most adorable from Modcloth! I mean it’s heart shaped and says “Made with love”!
Calligraphy by Emilee Stucky with Emilime Designs
I always love working with Emilee with Emilime Designs because she’s just so creative! She helped me with 3 projects for my boxes. She designed me the cutest little sticker with my hashtags on them. Along with writing my couples names on the envelopes in calligraphy plus she made some darling gift tags for the spoon rests that said: ” Always Kiss The Cook.” She did a marvelous job too! It was the perfect final touch to my boxes!
Mailing Box From Packlane
I couldn’t have been happier with these adorable customized mailing boxes from Packlane! They’re so sturdy and just look amazing!!! I wrapped them in kraft paper so that my couples even got to wrap it because who doesn’t love getting to unwrap presents!!!
This blog post is pretty long but I couldn’t help but show off all the awesome vendors I used! I’m so pleased with how my boxes turned out! Here are some fun images my couples posted after receiving their gifts!
