I knew after Chelsea & Jason’s engagement shoot that their day was going to pretty amazing! Well, I sure wasn’t wrong! Plus I didn’t get lost this time trying to find Chelsea’s dad’s house which is where the ceremony was held. Because I got super lost trying to find it for their engagement shoot!
Outdoor country weddings are always some of my favorites which you can see why when you look through their photos! But everything just looked so gorgeous! Of course, there is always the risk with outdoor weddings that it’ll rain. In Kansas, you really never know what the weather will be like! Right after we did Chelsea & Jason’s sweet first look a big storm rolled in. I was so thankful that these two did a first look because we were still able to take some super cute bride & groom photos before the storm rolled in.
Then fifteen minutes before their ceremony the skies cleared and it turned out to be gorgeous!!! It was just so amazing and perfect! Plus the rain even cooled it down a little! We were even blessed with a stunning sunset! So after the ceremony, we quickly took the photos we needed to and then headed over to the Independence Country Club for their reception!
It’s amazing how everything seems to just work out on wedding days including the weather! Also, I love that Chelsea & Jason didn’t let the rain get them down! They just kept on smiling & enjoying their day! The rain just added a pretty amazing story to their day! You can just see the love between these two in all their photos! It was an amazing day! Hope you enjoy their photos!
