This post is becoming one of my favorites to put together at the end of the year! I was getting all teary eyed remembering how wonderful all our couples were in 2017! It was such an amazing year!! You can see more evidence of that by looking at my favorite bridal party, details, engagement & wedding images. ( Click on each word to see those blogs!)
These photos are such a sweet reminder how incredibly thankful I am to photograph every wedding with Caleb by my side. As you’ll be able to tell he’s a crazy hard worker. He does so many things most people don’t realize. He’s the dress hanger, reflector, the wind, pack mule and so much more. He honestly makes my job 1o times easier. If it wasn’t for him I’d never remember to drink water on wedding days. But while he’s doing all those things mentioned he’s also being an amazing 2nd shooter. He captures moments that I don’t see because I’m off capturing something else. I’m so grateful that we can be a husband & wife team!
One of my favorite things about this blog post is the collage of us with our 2017 couples. We started the tradition last year of making a point at the end of each evening to grab a selfie with our couple( usually with a fancy selfie stick.) These selfies aren’t the best quality because they’re taken on our phone, usually in poor lighting and we look tired plus my hair is a mess at the end of the night. But these images are my favorite!! I got a little teary-eyed looking at them. Because it reminded me of how much I love those hugs we get from our couples at the end of the night when we’re saying goodbye.
Our couples are more than just clients to us. They become friends! We truly have the best job ever! Anywho, I hope these behind the scenes images makes you laugh because some of these images are just too funny! To my past clients: THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to capture the most special day of your life! It’s truly a huge honor that we don’t take lightly!
